In a bid to enhance economic cooperation, Qatar Chamber organized an investment roundtable in Berlin, targeting trade and private-sector collaboration with Germany’s North Rhine-Westphalia. This strategic meeting aimed at fostering new partnerships between the two regions attracted a diverse group of attendees, including Qatari business leaders, government officials, and representatives from German enterprises and economic bodies.

Headed by Sheikha Tamader Al Thani, the Qatari delegation engaged with German counterparts to explore potential collaborations in various sectors. Discussions emphasized advanced manufacturing, logistics, energy, sustainability, digital transformation, and technology as key areas for mutual growth. Both sides examined strategies to boost investment flows and improve business connections across these critical industries.

Qatar’s delegates took the opportunity to highlight their nation’s investment landscape, focusing on the financial services sector and logistics capabilities. They underscored Qatar’s strategic position as a pivotal business and trade hub in the region, aiming to attract international investors and partners. Representatives from investment and business organizations showcased Qatar’s strengths, reinforcing the country’s appeal to German businesses.

The roundtable also included insightful visits to leading German companies, such as SAP and Siemens Energy, where the Qatari participants gained firsthand exposure to advanced technologies and industrial innovations. These visits served to illustrate the potential for integrating cutting-edge solutions into joint ventures and cooperative projects between the two regions.

According to Qatar Chamber, this initiative is part of a broader strategy designed to expand international partnerships and secure new opportunities for both Qatar and Germany. By facilitating such dialogues and exchanges, the chamber aims to create a robust platform for ongoing economic collaboration that will benefit both countries in the long term.
