Qatar, South Sudan Discuss Economic Partnerships in High-Level Meeting

In a recent diplomatic engagement, Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, hosted an important meeting with Tut Gatluak, South Sudan’s Presidential Advisor on Security Affairs. This meeting took place during Gatluak’s official visit to Qatar, marking a significant moment in the diplomatic relations between the two nations.

A key aspect of their conversation was a message of condolence from South Sudan’s President, Salva Kiir Mayardit, to the Qatari leadership. This gesture was made following the passing of Qatar’s Father Amir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, reflecting the respect and regard held between the leaders of the two countries.
