In response to the mounting challenges posed by ransomware and infostealers, ESET, a prominent cybersecurity firm, has unveiled its latest innovation, the eCrime Reports. This addition to the ESET Threat Intelligence portfolio is designed to provide businesses with unparalleled insights into cyber incidents, offering detailed affiliate-level attack visibility, comprehensive timelines, and region-specific data. The increasing complexity and frequency of cyber threats have driven a greater need for reliable cyber threat intelligence (CTI), which ESET aims to address with its new offering.

“For over 30 years, ESET has been safeguarding governments, companies, and enterprises against the most sophisticated cyber threats,” stated Roman Kováč, ESET’s Chief Research Officer. The eCrime Reports are engineered to offer a blend of technical analysis and actionable defense strategies, drawing from the expertise of ESET’s global threat research teams. These reports are particularly focused on ransomware and infostealers, providing organizations with the means to bolster their cybersecurity frameworks, especially in high-risk scenarios.

The eCrime Reports are available in two tiers: the ESET Threat Intelligence eCrime Reports and an advanced version. These reports, built on proprietary data, provide unique insights into real-world cyber intrusions worldwide. By tracking tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), the reports uncover obscure clusters of activity, aiding strategic decisions related to cybercrime. Alongside this, ESET offers additional intelligence feeds covering a range of threats such as Android infostealers, ransomware, phishing URLs, and more.

Emphasizing the importance of quality in threat intelligence, Kováč noted that ESET’s offerings allow customers to streamline their threat data management, reducing the resources needed to process information. This approach helps organizations swiftly identify and prioritize potential threats, enhancing their ability to respond effectively and maintain a proactive cybersecurity stance.

The reports encapsulate various elements, including an activity summary that distills ransomware and infostealer campaigns into strategic insights and a technical analysis providing a deep dive into specific threat actors and campaigns. Additionally, the monthly digest offers an executive-ready overview of current cyber threats, helping organizations set priorities and assess risks. The advanced tier also includes the ESET AI Advisor, which integrates seamlessly into security operations, and access to a MISP server for enriched threat intelligence. ESET continues to expand its Threat Intelligence portfolio, which also features Premium APT Reports that delve into global cyber espionage activities, further demonstrating its commitment to providing comprehensive cybersecurity solutions.
